OddsShark Presents Glenny & The Bets

Alright, alright, alright. I’ll take a 2-1 showing any day of the week. Granted the Knicks & Heat had to dabble in some overtime to get the W, but you know the old adage! A walk is as good as a hit.

This week’s NFL action is MILES ahead of Wild Card Weekend’s. That shit sucked. I kid you not I literally fell asleep watching the first half of that Chiefs-Titans game and the tapes of that Bills-Jags game needs to be destroyed for the sake of football going forward.

Thankfully we seem to have brighter days ahead this weekend and we’re even lucky enough to rip the Foles bandaid off first! Patriots Saturday night, 2 great games on deck for Sunday…Oh boy it’s gonna be a tremendous weekend of NFL Football. Let’s engage.

  • Titans at Patriots over 48
    • Saturday night’s alright for fighting!! Goddamn that was corny but I had to say it. In reality this game is going to be a betting cluster fuck and I, for one, cannot wait. You got the Titans coming in to Foxboro off a big win getting 13 and a hook…looks good at first glance. But on the other hand you have an angry Pats team just a week removed from the ESPN article. All week I’ve been saying the Pats’ll get the W but Tennessee will somehow slip right under the spread so that calls for the Over. With the Pats team total set at 30.5 I can easily see this bad boy having somewhere around a 34-24 final with a backdoor by the Titans.
  • Jaguars +7
    • Fuck it. I’m getting in on a team this week. That’s how much I love Jacksonville. The Steelers have been playing down to their opponents and there’s no way around it. In the 2nd half of this season alone they’ve beaten the Lions, Colts, Packers, Bengals, Ravens, and Browns by a grand total of 19 points. They’re not big into blowouts over in Western Pennsylvania. I’ll take a team that beat them by 21 at home earlier in the season getting 7 points any day of the week. Go Bortles Go.
  • Saints at Vikings Over 46.5
    • 47 is high as fuck for this game, man. It was a lot nicer when it opened at 44! It’s interesting due to the fact that each team is Top 10 in both offense and defense with Minnesota being the #1 defense in the whole league.  They let up only 100 points at home this season! 100! 12.5 a fucking game! But if there’s one guy that can turn that around it’s the man the Saints have at quarterback. I never thought we’d be in the market for a divisional round shootout between Drew Brees and….Case Keenum. Yet here we are!

That’s all for me this week, folks. As always you can find me on Twitter @glenny_balls for questions, comments, and concerns. Also don’t forget the Suns/Rockets game tonight at 10:30pm. That’s what I like to call late Friday Night perfection! May the Gambling Gods be with you.
